Annual summer residency at the Briar Patch Inn in Sedona since 1989. Performances with members of the Phoenix Symphony, Dave Brubeck and Sons (Christmas Cantata,) and others. Concerts at Kerr Cultural Center, Scottsdale Center for the Arts, and many other venues. Four CDs released.

Contemporary Celtic/Southwest band led by guitarist Rick Cyge and flutist Lynn Trombetta. Multi-media show “Legend of the Land” in collaboration with artist Ed Mell. Four CDs plus two compilations with significant international airplay. Also performs traditional Irish music under the name “Ally and the Boys.”

Cross-cultural group whose members are versed in classical, jazz, Navajo, and World Music styles. Originals and improvisations with “Southwest” slant. Recording artists for Canyon Records, touring artists for Arizona Commission on the Arts, headline act at 1995 Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Three CDs with significant national airplay.
Flamenco
For eight years, Allen played with Mosaico Flamenco, a headline act at the Scottsdale Hyatt Regency Resort, recording on their two CDs and participating in performances with legendary Spanish dancer La Tanya. Since then he has continued to play with Flamenco guitarists Monte Perrault and Gaetano, dancers Yumi La Rosa and La Lolita, and others.

Gypsy Jazz quartet, performing in Phoenix and Northern Arizona, with frequent airplay on KJZZ, Phoenix's jazz radio station. Two CDs; "The Soul of Paris" and, soon to be released, "Live at the Nash."
Vismaya
Swedish-born jazz singer Vismaya (Ingrid Hagelberg) has delighted audiences around the world, singing in five different languages. Allen can be heard on her latest CD, "Songs from my Red Suitcase," and frequently performs with her in Sedona and the Phoenix area.
